SHB News - October 2017
You spoke, we listened..... and created better tools for our growing community! First of, thank you for using SHB! Over the past few months we have spent a lot of time taking all the feedback we received. We have improved our existing features and implemented new ones to provide you with the best possible buying and selling experience.
Here’s a list of our latest improvements:
Listing your board – Posting your board on the site is now easier and faster than ever! The step-by-step upload process takes just a couple of minutes to complete and you no longer have to input your full street address if you choose not to. Your listings remain active for 90 days.
Search / Results – Categories and map functionality has been improved to help you narrow down your search faster! To find the desired boards in your area simply enter your location, zoom in or out on the map, and choose from the options in the side panel.
My SHB – With the new My SHB section introduced earlier this year, it’s easy to find your saved searches, manage listings, and set alerts to inform you when new boards matching your desired criteria are listed. Here you will also find a record of all messages sent through SHB, making it easier for you to connect with buyers and sellers.
Messaging – For every message you receive on the site, we now also generate an email notification sent to your inbox so you never miss a potential sell inquiry or a reply from the seller! To ensure email delivery, please add [email protected] to your address book.
Mobile / Tablet – SHB is now fully mobile and tablet friendly. Make sure to add us to your home screen for easier access.
Blog – We introduced a blog on our site where you’ll find surfboard related articles and SHB News.
Growing community – We are now live in the UK and the US, with a plan on launching an Australian platform in 2018.
We hope you like what we’ve done, and we’d love to know what you think! It's our mission to provide our users with the absolute best experience on the SHB site. If you have any feedback, ideas, or requests, please contact us. We value your input and will make sure to incorporate it into future enhancements.
C’mon get on board!
