Buying

Feel free to browse our website in search of the ideal board for all your recreational needs. Seriously, don't be shy: check out as many as your heart desires.

Sign-up is only required when you choose to contact a seller: simply click "message seller" on the board's detail page and follow the prompts. Once you and the seller have made contact, you can coordinate the terms of your transaction to your mutual satisfaction. For your convenience, all interactions will be saved to your personal "My SHB" page. And though we recommend you meet the seller and conduct the deal in person, the specifics are completely up to you.

We only ask once the transaction has been finalized that you submit a review of your experience, for the benefit of future buyers. As your feedback helps build trust and grow our SHB community, it is invaluable and greatly appreciated. And it only takes a moment or two.

Selling

There's no getting around it: to list your board, you have to sign up. But fear not: there are plenty of perks and privileges associated with membership - and did we mention it's free? As a private seller or retailer you will have unlimited listings upon sign up. Your listings will remain active for 120 days.

Once you've signed up and listed your board, potential buyers will begin to contact you directly. With every message you'll receive a notification, which in addition to being accessible via your "My SHB" page, will also be directed to your personal email. You are encouraged to coordinate the terms of the transaction at your own discretion; though we advise you arrange to meet the buyer in person and collect cold hard cash on pick-up.

Once your board is sold, please deactivate your listing, at which point you will be asked to leave a review of the transaction. As stated above, reviews are an integral part of our community, and allow us to provide the utmost transparency for our members on future transactions. So please don't make us beg!

My SHB

With My SHB we provide our members with the necessary tools to manage all aspects of their accounts. Here you can find your favorite boards and saved searches, manage listings, and set alerts to inform you when new boards matching your desired criteria are listed. It is here that you'll also find a record of all messages sent through SHB, making it easier for you to connect with all your favorite buyers and sellers.
